| Grace & Mercy |
 |
| Grace and Mercy are two of the sweetest sisters you could ever meet! They love to be together all the time and play - especially when the play includes swimming! They turned two years old on August 1, 2010 and although they haven't been formally trained, it's easy to tell they will be quick learners. They are eager to please and would love someone that will give them lots of attention. Grace and Mercy have always been together and cry when they are not. When Grace was just 7 months old they were playing and Mercy pounced a little to hard and broke Grace's femur bone. She had to have surgery and than recover for a while and had to be separated by a kennel, but Mercy stayed right next to Grace all the time to make sure she was okay. They have always been outdoor dogs, but would love to be inside! They are very loyal to each other and their people - they love kids, and get along with other dogs. Grace and Mercy and will be loving additions to the right family that's willing to keep them together, train them, and spend lots of time with them. Both girls are spayed and up to date on their shots. For more information, or to arrange to meet Grace and Mercy, please email Crystal. Their adoption fee is $150 for the pair.

Jax
| |
 |
Meet Jax! He's a 10 month old black lab mix with a lust for life! His family rescued him from dire circumstances, but Jax is too much "puppy" for the two other 7 year old dogs in the home, so Jax is looking for a new family that's ready for some puppy energy! He is a 70 lb boy who is healthy and up to date on all his shots. He is housetrained, crate trained, and doggy door trained - one smart cookie! Jax likes to take walks, and does best with a harness. He also loves to run and play fetch with the ball. Jax loves his people most of all, and needs a new family with the patience and energy to keep up with him - a commitment to exercise is a must! Jax loves kids, is friendly and wants to play with other dogs, and hasn't met a cat. Like most young labs, Jax will sometimes chew things that don't belong to him when he's left alone. If you'd like to learn more about Jax, please email Carolyn or call 602-989-6054. Jax's adoption fee is $50. |
Kittens
| |
 |
| In addition to rescuing labs, a few DLRR members are also rescuing cats and kittens. Maricopa County Animal Care and Control sometimes turns them over to us when they are sick or too little to be adopted. We foster them and care for them, and when they are well and old enough, they are put up for adoption. Some of these kittens are available to be adopted now. We almost always have an assortment of kitties in all ages, sexes, and colors to choose from, plus the occasional adult cat. Contact ARC for info on availability. All kittens and cats will be spayed or neutered and up to date on shots prior to going home, for an adoption fee of $50. |
